rapper E-Turn makes the beat burn at A3C  



C.Truth of Thermal Soundwaves caught up with an emcee on the rise by the name
of E-Turn at the 2012 A3C Fest in Atlanta. She spoke on the hip hop scene in Orlando
where she reps, how she blends her singing plus rhyme skills, reaching the boiling
point to really go hard as an artist, doing three activities full time (work, music, school),
her marketing background and how it's helping her music, the rap battle league:

MC Add-2. A few hours from catching a flight and still exuberant after the Common
album release party, Add-2 shared with us: the co-sign he received from Common,

song "Modern Day Coons," thoughts on New York's project living, the importance

Hollywood director Paul Sapiano & Dominique Purdy on TSW 



The Radio Boys (Kev Lawrence, C.Truth) chopped it up with UK born director/writer
Paul Sapiano. We were also joined by actor/writer Dominique Purdy. Paul shared
his insights on: immigration laws, making your own films while navigating through
rough Hollywood, losing his home as a result of signing a bad contract for his first
film, selling knock off watches, the three important rules to follow in order to make
it in the business, being an illegal alien for close to 10 years, what project he wants
(Harrison Ford, Justin Timberlake, Shia LeBouef) for, his dislike of Comedy Central,
and what's next in the "Boys and Girls Guide" series. Dominque shared an incident
in which he had to audition for a role he already played, his comedy influences:
Dave Chappelle, Family Guy, Simpsons, CB4 and which one of Paul's films he
will never star in. You can expect to see their work on Showtime and NBC real soon.

Mexican rap star Israel Juda speaks on brushing death to get his music out  



The Radio Boys (C.Truth, Kev Lawrence) linked up across the border with rapper
Israel Juda from Monterrey. Juda (@IsraelJuda) addressed: music as a way out
for him, learning English by listening to Bone Thugs n Harmony who were great
influences, the tough conditions in Mexico, why he feels there will be a full scale
riot there soon, getting the gift of music from his mother at 10 years old, the reason
he can make it America and what he does to help his people in Mexico. Israel also
mentioned a near death experience in the studio as he was nearly assassinated.

Larry Hill of Puppy Imprinters speaks on dog training  



The Radio Boys (Kev Lawrence, C.Truth) speak to The Puppy Imprinter Larry Hill
who has been in the dog business for many years. Larry shed some light on: what
a professional dog trainer does, the misconceptions about pitbulls, working for the
Department of Animal Services for the city of Los Angeles, being the first African
American to put his dog on a plane and compete in a dog competition in El Paso
Texas, putting together spade/neuter programs for people who can't afford it,
helping owners understand what their dogs' nature is, how to make your dog
more social, training dogs for movie work and pilots, talking to kids on bullying/why
we should be kind to animals and more.
